Terms of Use

Plain English, no lawyer-speak where it can be avoided. By using Image Converter Hub you agree to what follows.

1. What this service is

Image Converter Hub converts images between formats. The conversion runs inside your own web browser using your device’s processor — your files are not uploaded to us, and we never receive, store or see them. Our privacy policy explains this in detail.

2. Your images stay yours

We claim no ownership of, and no licence over, anything you convert. Because your files never reach our servers, we have no copy of them and no way to recover a file you lose. Keep your own originals.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to process material you have no right to process, to process material that is unlawful where you are, or to attempt to disrupt the service — including automated scraping, load testing, or attempts to bypass rate limits or usage caps.

4. Availability

The service is provided free of charge and is offered as-is. We do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time. Browser support for individual image formats is set by your browser vendor, not by us; where your browser cannot encode a format, the option is disabled rather than producing a file with the wrong contents.

5. No warranty

Conversion is lossy for some formats by nature. We make no warranty that a converted file will be fit for any particular purpose, that quality will be preserved, or that metadata will survive the conversion. Check the output before relying on it.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded — including, in Australia, the consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

7. Advertising

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisements are supplied by Google and its partners; we do not choose individual advertisements and do not endorse advertisers. Our privacy policy covers the data those services process.

8. Paid features

Some future features may require a paid subscription. Where that applies, the price, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown before you are charged, and those specific terms will take precedence over this section. Nothing on this page creates an obligation to pay for anything.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The revision date below always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms go through the form on our contact page. We do not publish an email address.
